Weekly Service Coverage

  1. On-site water quality testing (pH, Total Dissolved Solids, Temperature, Dissolved Oxygen, M-Alkalinity, Phosphate, Residual Chlorine)
  2. Waste collection and removal (to ensure smooth inflow into the aeration tank)
  3. Inoculation of selected bacterial strains (to restore waste digestion through aerobic processes)
  4. Chlorination of effluent water (for disinfection and safe discharge)
  5. Monthly sampling and laboratory analysis of effluent (based on parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, Suspended Solids, Oil & Grease, Coliform, and E. coli)
  6. Reporting of abnormalities in electrical control panels and pumping equipment (to ensure stable operation and prevent system failures)

We are licensed under IPA Type D to perform maintenance services for sewage treatment facilities.

When Maintenance Is Neglected

Proper maintenance is essential to ensure that sewage treatment systems operate efficiently and meet regulatory standards. The photos below highlight some common issues found in facilities that lack regular upkeep:

Blockage and Odor in the Inlet Chamber

Blockage and Odor in the Inlet Chamber

Accumulated waste, organic matter, grease, fats, and oils in the inlet chamber can lead to severe blockages and unpleasant odors. Without timely cleaning, these substances hinder water flow and cause system overloads.

Poor Aeration in Aerobic Systems

Poor Aeration in Aerobic Systems

When aeration is not performed in aerobic treatment tanks, foul odors begin to develop. Additionally, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) levels rise significantly, indicating poor water quality and biological inefficiency.

Non-Compliance with Environmental Standards

Non-Compliance with Environmental Standards

Inadequate maintenance can result in treated effluent failing to meet Schedule 3 of the Environmental Quality Act 1974, posing risks to public health and the environment.

These examples emphasize the importance of weekly inspections, proper microbial treatment, and laboratory analysis. We provide certified, professional maintenance services to help clients avoid these risks and ensure long-term system performance.
